Musings, observations and fishing reports from Minnesota's Leech Lake

June 5, 6, and 7, 2008
The winds were high -- near 20 mph out of the NW -- and there were severe thunderstorm warnings off and on for three days. I didn't go fishing any of these days.
I have a cabin on the north end of Leech Lake on Sucker Bay. I primarily fish for walleye, perch, bass and northern pike, but also enjoy hunting for muskie. I particularly enjoy hard-water angling and try to get out on the ice as much as possible.
