We woke up this morning to temperatures in the mid-60s and very strong winds of 25+ mph out of the north. The lake was covered with large waves and white caps. We decided to stay on shore today, so no fishing.
I have a cabin on the north end of Leech Lake on Sucker Bay. I primarily fish for walleye, perch, bass and northern pike, but also enjoy hunting for muskie. I particularly enjoy hard-water angling and try to get out on the ice as much as possible.
