The temperature today was near 50 degrees, the warmest it's been in a while. The wind was calm to 5-8 mph out of the SE, and the sky was sunny and clear blue.
After spending about 4 hours blowing leaves with a leaf-blower at the cabin, I took a break so I could go on a walk in the woods with Kathleen. It was a beautiful day, and we had a wonderful time on our walk.
Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall, the beauty of Leech Lake and the surrounding woods is unmatched.
No fishing again today.

- I have a cabin on the north end of Leech Lake on Sucker Bay. I primarily fish for walleye, perch, bass and northern pike, but also enjoy hunting for muskie. I particularly enjoy hard-water angling and try to get out on the ice as much as possible.

About Leech Lake
Located in north central Minnesota, in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest, Leech Lake is approximately 112,000 acres. The lake's maximum depth is 150 feet. Average depth is 15 feet. Leech offers big water, but also many bays, narrows, and contour for fishing or anchorages.
